Sex 2 weeks after delivery- oops?

Had my bambino 3 weeks ago, but broke down and had sex a little after 2 weeks...I know I risked infection from doing so (didn't read that till after the fact) but now my lower tummy cramps and has some pain.  Am i just paranoid or do I need to call my doctor?  I feel really dumb for asking this, lol, sorry.

I wouldnt worry too much about having sex so early, its great that you felt that you wanted too :) alot of cultures they actually have sex a day or two after!, yes the risk of infection is there but it is quite small you would be surprised the amount of women that dont wait until the "required"time and dont have any problems especially as you also have had not tearing etc

Thanks.  No I didn't have an episiotomy and I didn't require stitches at all as I didn't tear either...I guess im just paranoid, lol.  I will be sure to tell her!  Can't wait for that appointment to be "normal" again!

did you tear or have an episiotomy? If so you need call your dr so he can meld sure you didn't pop any stitches. I had sex 2 weeks post partom after both my children were born but I did not have stitches and had stopped bleeding. The fact that u used a condom doesn't mean anything they can fail so be sure to notify your dr that you need a pregnancy at your 6 week check up. Good luck.

We used a condom, so im not worried about that part...just infection.
