Sick toddler

Okay I know this is the wrong forum to post this on, but my little girl (eighteen months today) has puked about eight times in less than twelve hours. i checked the toddler forum and the pediatric forum and they rarely get any replies, so I'm begging for help from mommies on here!  I took her to her pediatrician and he told me what to watch for (danger wise). I'm looking for comfort techniques and advice on how she should sleep tonight.
She usually sleeps alone in her crib in her room but it's already bedtime and I dint feel comfortable leaving her alone! I just need some advice from already mommies!

I always gave my daughter water or gatorade (she hated pedialite). If she would keep that down I would move to ice pops and then to crackers or toast and so on.

When m daugter was sick I loved just latching her on because it just made her feel so much better.

Thanks for all your help. I wish I could just stick her on a boob! That always helped.

I'm really sorry to hear about your sick child. It ***** when they get like that and you know that it's very hard to do anything to help them.

The only milk I might give her is breastmilk but I'm all dried up! I feel like sick a mean mama I just put her to bed without dinner. But her doctor said not to even try broth until she keeps the pedialite down for at least an hour. Now my back is aching from cuddling my toddler all day and I'm getting this stupid flu too.

you could also freeze Gatorade In  ice tray cubes. Breaking up into smaller pieces and you could let her suck on them. It'll be nice and cold and she won't drink so much worse She'll get sick all at once.

don't give her milk. I'm not sure if she has a bottle or sippy cup tonight. But don't give her milk. Milk makes vomiting worse.

She's taking pedialite in small doses now. Good to know about her back she usually rolls onto her side anyway but I'll keep an extra close eye.
