Smell! Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out that i am pregnant about 3 weeks ago and I have been having a weird smell down there. I went to the Dr and they seem to not be able to smell anything. They also did a routine check to rule out any infections, however the smell is still there. It sorta smells like ammonia and old cheese! lol Can anyone help?

I believe you would be more sensitive to the smell because, a: you kow your body, its functions and its general hygeine and b: because you are pregnant you have a heightened sense of smell. The only thing i can recommend is maybe changing soaps or using fem fresh wipes, but if no one else can smell it try not to let it bother you too much.

There are two things i can think of to cause this, the first is maybe youre like me with this pregnancy everything with a stong odor that i eat ie onions gives me body odor- thanks to lovely hormones:) or you have bacterial vaginosous i know i didnt spell that right but thats what one time caused me to have a cheesy smell. See your doc again if it doesnt clear up maybe they can retest you for infection.. Best if luck!
