Does it not help white people?
well idk your ethnic but Vaseline helps black people and brown tone people not to get streach marks you have to rub it on your breast, belly, butt, and thighs everyday
@queen_harris that's good, you probably won't get them then. :)
my mom had 4 kids with me bein the 4th nd she have no stretch marks at all i asked wat was her secret she laughed nd said there was no secret she jus didnt get them ...i hope i am as lucky...thanks 4 the feedback though
you can't prevent stretch marks. nothing truly works! if someone before you like a mom or sister aunt has stretch marks you're more than likely gonna get them too. nothing we can do about it because regardless skin has to stretch to accommodate baby, just put lotion on everyday to TRY to reduce it.. but, it didn't work for me still got them on my sides. none on my stomach. oh, my doc said don't use cocoa butter or shea butter on your stomach because its sinks threw the skin and can cause baby's heart rate to rise. so, regular lotions are fine.
I use almond oil I'm 31 weeks so far no stretch marks but I've heard if your Mom had them then you'll probably get them too and then there's no way you could prevent that . My mom never had them and my grandma didn't either sofar I haven't either I hope I don't get them this last few weeks i don't use the oil that much only when I remember but I still do just in case :) hope that helps
Stretch marks are primarily genetic. You nearly can't avoid getting them if they run in your family. However, exercise, stretching, lotions, and some oils can help minimize them and lessen them afterward. Just an FYI so you're not surprised later!
