Basically stretch marks are there because you skin gets really badly stretched during pregnancy.. when we scratch on top of it we dont realise we are breaking skin as well.. similar very heavy weight people scratch themselves they get them because well skin is all loosen up and they start to look ugly.. when i was really fat i use to have them on my arms, breasts, stomach everywhere.. when i lost weight and lost some loosen skin they started disappearing only left with ones which were very deap (i have long nails)... similarly my mum use to tell me not to scratch during periods because skin becomes way sensitive.. when baby is born then we will see how many marks we got lol

I clawed the crap out of my stomach during my first pregnancy and I have NO stretch marks. You get stretch marks but literally stretching your skin to the max. If you are already "overweight" you will most likely get them. My doctor said because I am small and if I stay within the recommended weight gain, he doesn't believe I will get any at all during this pregnancy either... But keeping your belly and skin hydrated helps reduce risk(:

Ahh!!! Nobody ever gives me plain simple very important advice like this! I had no idea scratching lead to stretch marks... And I've been scratching my boobs sooooo much and my tummy lately! I have palmers cocoa butter I think it's called tummy butter but I hardly use it cuz I hate feeling cold and sticky after ahhhhhhh stretch marks pooping on the table ripping to my butt hole n gross nipples are my biggest fears!!! Yucky!!

Also keep in mind that every pregnancy is different. What works for one woman may not work for another.
