Throwing up stomach acid?

So I'm not exactly sure what I just threw up, but it scared the s h i t outta me! I'm not even sure if its "normal". I ate around 7, and went to sleep at probably 9:30. I woke up from almost a dead sleep, because I had to pee around 12:45. As soon as I got to the bathroom I started throwing up this yellowish white stuff. But every time some would come up I would sit there and gasp for air and none would come. I'm not sure if it was because I was throwing up so much or if it was stomach acid or if I was inhaling it. I'm also 31 weeks 1 day, so I don't think it's morning sickness. Has this happened to anybody before or know why it happened?

Yup its stomach acid... i cough it up all the time cuz my heartburn is so bad...the worst is when it comes up through your nose  burns like crazy

I ate I think around 7 and laid down not that long after. I will probably call my doctor in the morning. Thank you! :)

My doctor recommended taking the heartburns pill & tums also. Your throat feeling like its burning is sadly from heartburn. when do you eat? My doctor suggested that I eat way earlier before i sleep. She said that i should eat atleast 4 or so hours before i laydown that way my stomach would settle in and i dont get heartburn. It has been helping a ton. i used to have really horrible heartburn where it would wake me up at night and make me want to vomit! let your doctor know your concerns.

My doctor gave me pills too for the heartburn, because I guess I get it so bad that it is irritating my esophagus or something like that. Although it doesn't help at all. :\

Anything I can do for my throat?

I feel you! my doctor had to prescribe me pills that help keep me from throwing up. She also prescribed me pills for heartburn. Only 3 more weeks till my dd (:!

My throat still feels like its burning. :\ I have tried gargling and drinking water and neither of them help! I can't wait to have my son here! I am so over all of this.

yes, thats stomach acid . sadly. I experienced that throughout my first , second and some of my third trimester. it so nasty lol. even when i didnt eat i would still throw this up ):

Happened to me one time with my first pregnancy at like 20 weeks or something, it wss random and hurt so bad and my throat just felt like it was burning!!!! Was yellowish colour too have no idea why it happend but I guess its normal
