Trisomy 18

I tested positive for trisomy 18. While my baby Tristan is inside kicking n punching me, i am on the outside crying. Dr says he won't survive n maybe he will be stillborn ,i will keep my faith n pray they are wrong. Im lost for words right now, prayers are welcomed

First I want you to know yes what your doctor said is true , BUT what he failed to mention it seems is babys born with trisomy 18 can survive as well and may live into there 20 , 30s with proper care and nicu for him when he is born . Im sorry you have to go through this . I will pray for you and baby :)

I am so sorry. I just did some research in this and I read that some children born with it can in fact live many years. I sending prayers up for you and your sweet, sweet baby!

I'm so sorry, that's heartbreaking news to get! Try to keep positive and keep that little guy as healthy as possible. Hopefully he'll prove that doctor wrong and come into this world kickin!

My friends mom tested positive for all down syndrome testing and baby came out perfectly fine.  Just try not to stress dear.

I hope ur tests are wrong :( it happens a lot u know.....babies will test for downsyndrome and thry come out fine. I dont know what trisome 18 is but i jope with all my heart and soul that ur babybis fine! Stay strong momma! As long as ur little one is kicking there is still hope. I will pray for u and the safety of ur baby everyday!
