Ultrasound question...help

Ok I know I've posted this once before, but my bfs mom is a ***** and is making him question everything. So, I saw my first ultrasound at almost 13 weeks, and I saw the baby kick its legs, but didn't feel it. I also had a pelvic exam done right before hand and 2 doctors said my uterus felt right about 13 weeks. Excited, I told my bf and he got excited also. So when he told his mom, she said that its not even possible because its "not even that developed yet," implying that I'm further along than what I think. And my bf and I have not been together all that long, so she is trying to make him think that this is not his baby. So my question is.. is it possible to see a baby kick on ultrasound at 13 weeks?
Ps no judgemental comments please. I'm a ftm so this is all new to me and I'm aware that I got pregnant too soon in our relationship, but that's irrelevant to the question I'm asking. Thanks..

I had my first ultrasound at 10weeks and my baby was sitting straight up and down then once it started moving it was bouncing up and down jerkin its head back and then went to sleep and would not be helpful at all so yea she needs to mind her own damn business and stop trying to shelter him!!

Its absolutely always okay to have him there! In fact, most doctors prefer it. He got you that way, so they'd better not say it's inappropriate for him to be there! Lol

Thank you everybody, these comments have helped and I'm hoping when my bf reads them he will be more convinced. I didn't ask him to come back with me last time because I was having my pelvic exam done and it was only my 2nd appointment so I didn't know if it would be ok or not. But I will take him back next time for sure, my next appointment is January 10th.

Oh yeah.  One of my little ones was trying to kick the other one while we were doing measurements.  It's totally possible. Tell her she wouldn't know she probably didn't even do US when she was prego so she wouldn't even know what a baby looks like at 13 wks.... Ugh some people.  Sorry she's like that, but Hun do not let her stress you.  Just ignore it and be happy.   Remember baby feels what you feel :)

My daughters genitalia was developed enough at 14+2 for my doctor to tell me I'm having a girl. Obviously, one week prior, her arms and legs were developed enough for her to be moving around. The baby is even past your pubic bone by then. Have him go with you to an appointment and let the doctor measure right in front of him. He'll see exactly how developed your baby is by the doctor's scan.

And tell her if she's so adimate that the child isn't his, you'll gladly opt for a dna test if she'll pay once it's born. Can't argue with science!!

Yes it is possible. It seems to me his mom is completely against you two having this baby but isn't gonna straight up say it, she is just gonna say rude things. Maybe try taking them both with you so she can see for herself and isn't making you look like the bad person.

See! And if you lay really still you MIGHT be able to feel you baby move a little. Usually ftm's dont feel it until about 20 weeks but women that have had mutiple pregnancies feel it around 13 to 14 weeks because we know what it feels like. Lay down on your back really still after eating something and see if you can feel anything. I wish you the best and definitly show them the video! Theres more than one on there if you search "13 week sonogram" so she doesnt make an excuse for that one! And it says "13 weeks 0 days in the left top corner. Im sorry for the long posts but the baby is going to be the one to suffer because she is being selfish! And you are very welcome!

I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks. and My baby was kicking away almost like he or she was dancing. I again had one at 13 weeks( and ultrasound) and we saw our little one again moving away kicking moving his or her arms. Apparently your bf mother is a little outdated, because by 13 weeks, the baby is sometimes even sucking their fingers.

lol I know right! She tries controlling everything that my bf does and he is 25 years old. She freaks out on him if he doesn't call her at least twice a day. And I've asked him if she liked any of his ex's and he thought about it and said that actually she hasn't liked any one of them. Which explains a lot... She even sabotaged our christmas plans to go to my parents house and last minute made him feel guilty for not being with her on christmas. So guess who's spending the holidays alone.. :( anyways that's my rant, thank you for the insight, I'm going to show these comments to my bf so hopefully she can stop getting in his head.

I saw my baby's little leg and arm buds at ten weeks and even saw the individual legs kicking on my us. So yes, it is definitely likely you would have seen it at 13!

Yes you can see the baby bouncing around as early as 8 weeks I have been pregnant 4 (5 with this one) times and I have had a sono at 8 and 9 weeks and the baby is basically dancing lol because the arms and legs are more developed. I would  tell her YES the baby IS that developed at 13 weeks and when she has her degree in Obstetrics that youll be more than happy to sit there and argue with her!  Better yet go on YOUtube and search sonogram videos or something at 13 weeks and show her! Better yet give me a few minutes and I will find one for you and I will psot the link! I cant stand obnoxious people! She obviously has nothing better to do with her time!!
