Vomiting & Abd pain after eating 5 days post-partum
I am currently 5 days post partum and, beginning yesterday, I began experiencing sharp abdominal pains and vomiting immediately after eating anything. When I have an empty stomach, I have no discomfort whatsoever, and I have no other postpartum complications or discomforts other than some perineal soreness. I had a vaginal delivery with an epidural. Any suggestions? I'm breastfeeding, so I am concerned about my lack of food and water intake.
The sharp abdominal pains might be your uterus contracting especially since you are breastfeeding (I had that with my son), but the vomiting - I would see your doctor! Congrats on the baby!
