WEIRD question about baby movement *LOL*

Ok this might be a silly question but i'm really unsure. When i was pregnant with my first baby i never really felt what would be the baby rolling over. I've read and heard others say that it's different from kicks but i don't think i've experienced the feeling. For those who have can you describe it for me. Maybe i have had it and just assumed it was kicks or nudges. Also when should you start to feel movement regularly. I've been feeling little flutters off and on since about 16 weeks but nothing consistant. I'll feel a few a day and then nothing for a week or more. The last couple of days i may have felt it steady for an hour or so but that's it. I'm 19 weeks now and wondering if this is normal. I have an u/s next week so i'll get to peek in on her/him anyway but just curious of others experience with this.

Thanks for your answer in advance :)

yeah waves, I think they feel like contractions but don't hurt and for me I can feel the hardness where he is rolling across the front of my stomach. It is slower then kicks. You will know if she/he has rolled if the kicks ar ein a differnet place then they were before.

For me the baby turning or rolling over feels like a wave of motion, where kicks feel like little jabs and sometimes big jabs lol.
