What are these symptoms of?

I'm not really sure if these are signs or symptoms of pregnancy but I feel... strange. It begin happening on my last period (about 2 to 3 weeks ago), my period ended rather early. About 2 days shorter than normal. I also began having a slight tightness or pressure in my lower abdomen. I also have a dull ache in my lower back.  My lower abdomen tightens more when I laugh or cough. It sort of feels like I have been doing crunches or sit ups. My vaginal discharge increased but there is no odor. I also feel gassy... like indigestion sort of. All in all it feels sort of like I am about to start my period when I am actually weeks away from it.

Well here is another update. I was indeed pregnant but the spotting was the start of a miscarriage. Umm... thats all I have to say for now. Just make sure you take care of yourself.

Please let us know how this all turns out! I have had many of the same symptoms but my test came back negative as well! I have had two 2 day periods in the last 8 weeks but my aunt didn't find out she was pregnant til 3 months along bc she was having periods. I have an appointment with Planned Parenthood on Saturday just to rule out any STDs bc of the mild pain and abnormal discharge. But my breasts grew a whole size and a half out of no where and I am 21. So something is going on. So please do update and I will as well!! Good luck!

Sooo... just updating this. I haven't started my period YET. Ugh. Anywho, havent really been stressing over it until I realized today that I am about a week late. Just never really been off like this before. Took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative. But yeah. I had some spotting today Very light and very short. I am just gonna try another PT and see what happens...

Oh and the pain is not just on one side of my lower abdomen, its actually just below my belly button. I just feels like bad gas. Lol. Its just strange because I have never felt anything like this before.

No. Not a pinching sensation. More so like... a pressure pushing down on uterus?  Just a tight feeling. Kinda like cramps but not so painful.

Yeah, based on where you are in your cycle I would say you're ovulating. You don't always ovulate 2 weeks after your period unless you have a typical 28-day cycle. If you have longer cycles you will ovulate later. The length of the actual bleeding doesn't have any bearing on your ovulation or when your next period will come.

The discharge is an indication that you are about to ovulate or are ovulating. So if you're trying to have a baby, have sex now! If you don't want a baby, definitely avoid sex while you have the discharge. It keeps sperm alive and helps them reach the egg.

When I ovulate I feel a pinching sensation above my hip on one or both sides. Usually just one side. Do you think you have that right now, too?

Wow. Thanks for answering! And period was pretty normal (heavy bleeding on the first day...) and then it just... ended abruptly. Was quite strange because my cycle is usually at least six or seven days. Even eight sometimes.

You're most likely ovulating. You can have these symptoms during ovulation as well.

Well, I have similar abdomen pain and gas and some odorless discharge and I am just over 4 weeks pregnant, so who knows!  I am not  sure why it's so soon before your period is due, but you may have ovulated really early or maybe your last period was implantation bleeding if it was really short?  I say wait 'til your period is really due and take a test. :-)
