When will my engagement ring fit?

It fit while I was pregnant until around 36 weeks when my hands got really swollen. Draeven is almost a month old now and the ring still doesn't fit. Will my hands ever go back to normal or will they always be this big? I wanna wear my ring!

I hope it fits soon, I lost 30 lbs too. I only got to wear it for a couple of weeks :(

precious- how is your little draeven doing? What types of comments do you get about his name? So far everyone loves the name, they say it sounds medevil or celtic. They always ask me what it means, and I dont know. what does it mean anyways??

i was told that it usually takes around 6-8 weeks for all swelling to go away. which i hope mine does because neither my engagment nor wedding bands fit. i have to wear them on my pinky finger....lol. i was going to opt to just not wear either ring but when i did that (for an entire day) i got the DIRTIEST looks from people. i'm guessing that they assumed i was some knocked up teen so i just wear both bands on the pinky now....*sigh* people are horrible now a days

lol you guys.....i already have big fingers, so i'm not too worried about that....

for those of you who ecide to get your ring sized.....depending where you bought it, most jeweler chains give 1st sizing free, regardless of puchase date(unless it was more than a few years lol)....otherwise it's up to $50...however, some malls and small jewelers offer 3 day sizing for as little as $25.....they stretch the gold, i dont think they add to it....but then, i also say if a ring needs to be sized down more than 1 size, i want my gold lol.....

I was wondering the same thing... my son is now 3 and half weeks old and my engagement ring is still sitting in my drawer. I can't get it past my knuckles. It's surprising for me because I've lost 30 pounds... still must be swollen though. I too will give it another month and then I may have to get it sized.

How funny that we both ended up naming our boys Draeven, spelled the same and everything.  Well, about your question, I finally was able to put my ring back on 2 weeks ago.  8w after having baby!!!  I'd give it another month, and if it still way to tight, then get it sized.

Ok, that's good its not that expensive. For some reason I thought it was going to cost alot to have it sized. I think I'll do that :)

hum...idk when they should shrink, but at max it'd cost $50 to have it sized....but that's assuming that you won't wear it with your wedding band(that you'll get a new set then).....
