Wine coolers

I'm going to a get together nd my friend is telling me to have a wine cooler, but I'm so scared is it something major if I do I'm 24wks

The one glass of wine here and there is true but to a wine cooler a doctor would probably tell you no and once you had one the friend that suggested you have one knowing your pregnant would probably try to get you to have more than one. And if it worries you in the first place you peobably shouldn't.. you'll probably end up feeling bad after.

I agree. It is okay to have a small glass of red wine once a week.

Personally I wouldnt do it. Studies dont know exactly how much alcohol will cause damage. Just the thought of putting my baby in danger makes me cringe. This friend does he/she know your pregnant? He or she should be offering something other than alcoholic drinks.

It's not worth it and it's not worth the stress it's going to cause you from worrying about it. Tell your friend no thank you, if she's a good friend she'll understand and drop it.

Actually drs say not to drink at all bcuz they dont know the amount of alcohol that can cause fetal alcohol syndrome. it was in all the paper work I got from my dr

My doctor told me one glass of red wine every so often should be okay after 36 weeks so maybe if you ask your doctor she'll tell you something different and she'll give you the okay or not

When I was pregnant with my son 13 years ago,  I drank one wine cooler.  I was in my second trimester. He's perfectly fine,  but I will admit that even tho it tasted absolutely amazing while drinking it,  I felt so horrible after I drank it,  and still think about it.  I've heard that a class of wine is ok.

Actually . Dr. say you can.have one cup of wine a day while pregnant.  But I wouldn't have a whole cooler.. And since you haven't drank threw out your pregnancy I wouldn't recommend drinking cause your baby.isn't use to it.

It's not recommended that you drink while pregnant because if possible birth defects..  But you're going to have to make that judgement call on your own. Some women drink while pregnant and some don't.
