Worried about my baby

A few weeks ago I went to my doctors appt to find out my baby's gender, that day the doctor told me about a problem in my baby's kidney which I misunderstood, today i found out one of my baby's kidney is bigger than the other one and it's kinda blocking the bladder, she said it's really common for that to happen in boys and some babies can be born with down syndrome due that defect in their kidneys, she said I have a really low possibilitie for that to happen since I'm young and there's a low possibilitie for my baby as well, she also said since his kidney dilated fast it could go away within time so whenever my baby is born he's gonna get checked and everything I have a week left for him to be here but I'm really worry about what the doctor told me. Has anyone experience this before?

My third had several 'down syndrome' markers- they monitored me closely the whole pregnancy and we opted out of any extra tests (due to risks of miscarriage and other factors).  When she arrived, turns out she didn't have down syndrome.  It's important to remember these tests are not fool proof and many times make you worry for no reason. I know how scary that can be to get that news- it's so hard not to worry!

Yes I was really worried but thank God he's finally here  healthy with no complications :)

I'm guessing you're talking about fluid in the kidney, and yes it is common in boys. It usually resolves itself on it's own...depending on the issue.

Yes that's what she said but what got me worried is that she said since some babies have that abnormalitie some have down syndrome due to that issue but my possibilitie is low but still I'm worried
There likely would've been other markers on the ultrasound besides the kidneys that would point towards downs syndrome.
