YEAST INFECTIONS! :((

Hey moms,
any of you ladies experience yeast infections during pregnancy?I'm currently having one and it seems more extreme than the normal one.. what are the best brand for meds and how did you guys treat yours?didn't happen more than once during pregnancy?

Yep unfortunately I've got one now :( bought some canesten double strength cream and it's brilliant so much relief from that awful swelling!

yup its normal....doc gave me a cream for 5 days and it went away! good luck!

Yes I had one my doc gave me some meds to insert into my coochie..I tried drinking cranberry juice and yogurt with live cultures but didnt work out had to get meds but went away..bladder and yeast are common

I used monistat it was good I used the seven day one and by day 5 it was gone. Its just messy so I only used it at night with a pad since the cream inserted leaks

Yeah they're completely normal during pregnancy especially if you're taking antibiotics for some reason it tends to flare up a yeast infect. My Dr gave me a 7 day vaginal cream I would ask your Dr what they recommend (:

yes i have ,& when i had it i felt like it was so extreme. My vagina was swollen & red and it had these weird bumps on it ! My doctor prescribed clotrimazole , which i had to use twice a day for 7 days and it worked wonders . i haven't had another yeast infection since , but whenever my vagina feels even a little irritated, i use a little & it goes back to normal. Ask your doctor about it. Good luck !
