Yeast Infection

Who all has had a yeast infection. Im 38+4 and at 34w I found out I had a yeast infection my doctor said I didn't have to take med unless it started bothering me. It did this weekend. I got the over the counter med like she said and used it tonight, now im burning and uncomfortable. Any advice?

I know it sounds minging but try putting ice cubes in a sock and holding it between your legs, that might soothe the burning.

I haven't had one while pregnant until now, but before I got them often, whenever I used an antibiotic. And they'd just prescribe the pill, so id never used the cream. Thank you ladies.

I go to the doc and let her prescribe me diflucan bc the otc meds have alcohol in them which is why it burns. I found out the hard way.

I'm 36+1 and I've gotten a lot of yeast infections this pregnancy. I got some cream prescribed by my doctor and it Burns so bad. But they usually go away within a couple days. I hate getting them there so uncomfortable. What helps me is taking a warm bath and soaking my VA jj LOL tmi but it helps

Unfortunately the burning is from the medicine....That happens to me when I put it in. You are supposed to put it in right before you lay down for bed so it doesn't come out. Sorry there is nothing really to do. It will get better each day!
