about Guaifenesin helping TTC

Just read somewhere about Guaifenesin helping in getting you pregnant by thinning your cervical fluid, which enables sperm to travel through your cervix and fertilize an egg.

Read this:

Hope it helps. Am thinking of giving it a try. SSBD to all!!!

Jhumia- wonderful! I do hope it works for you. Let us know how it does end up working for you, too. I got Mucinex. It was the only one I could find with Guafanesin being the ONLY active ingredient.

It is funny someone mentions this...I actually had just started taking cough medicine the month I got pregnant for that very reason. I am not sure if it actually aided in me getting pregnant but it was a very interesting coincidence. Can't hurt to try....good luck.

I tried it but I wasn't ovulating so it was a waste of my time. If you're not ovulating it just won't matter.
