abusive relationships

Just need to vent, sorry. I recently ended it with my baby's father because he would lay his hands on me or call me  names and this would always happened only when he was drunk. He's a little *****, but I just can't help but cry I honestly miss him and love him. I feel like I giving him a call to work things out for our child to come, but that would be so stupid of me. I guess I feel horrible that my daughter won't have a dad just want my babygirl to be happy

You're little girl is better off with you and him not together...the emotional & mental toll it takes on a child to be around such an unhealthy relationship is lifelong she needs to grow up and know what its like to be in a healthy relationship and to have no man ever touch her like that! I have been in that relationship before and I know exactly how it feels when you love someone but know they're not the right person...just picture the kind of guy you want your daughter with and keep that in mind when you find a MAN not someone who abuses you

Your baby girl will understand, you don't need that in your life and you baby doesn't need to see that happen to her mom, he is not stupid if he knows he is a violent drunk and decides to drink and go home to you anyway he is not a good man, maybe seeing his baby will snap him out if it and at that point you can see about continuing a relationship with him but now until then momma just stay strong.

I know how hard it is to leave an abusive relationship. Stay strong; you are making the best decision for you and your baby. Seek help if you need to talk to someone.

Dont feel bad. Its his loss. My father beat my mother most of my childhood so speaking from your childs point of view, she doesnt need that. Its better to to have one really amazing parent than to have to watch someone you love beat someone else you love just as much. Its scary for kids and its not something they should ever have to live with. You dont want her growing up thinking its acceptable to be with a guy like that. You want her to grow up seeing you as a strong woman who did what was best for yourself and for her. She might not understand when shes little but when shes older shell respect you for that. And if you never put her in that environment to begin with then she wont know the difference that hes gone. To her that will be normal.  Youll find someone else who will love you and your little girl the right way. You need someone like that. Your a role model for your daughter so stay strong for her and stay away from that type of relationship. Its damaging to you and it would be damaging for her.

It hurts now because it's new, but in time, you'll be fine. You're doing what's best for you & your baby.
