It could definitely be discharge but in most cases discharge is a little thicker then water but not always. When your water breaks it can be a trickle not always a gush. In my opinion its just better to find out if its water just cause the issues that can occur such as infection

I have the same thing going on today and I tried the lay down thing and I don't gush... I'm thinking it may be a bit of my plug because I have been losing pieces for a while now as well as a little pee from all the fluids I've been drinking lol

Could.it just be like discharge though? My midwife said something about extra cervical discharge at the end as your body prepares. It isnt loads of wetness, like it doesnt pour out, but its still annoying enough.

Call you health car provider and see what they think but the best advice ive ever heard is go to the bathroom and empty your bladder then go lay down for aprox 20 mins this with give the fluid a little time to gather that way after 20 mins when you stand up if theres a gush chances are your water has broken. But please check with labor and delivery cause they will tell you if they want you to come in. Because once your water has broken there is no barrier for infection between baby and out side world.
