am I having a miscarriage

Ftm, I am 6 weeks 6days now. I had a bit of brown and dark red spotting 4 days ago and cramping I went to hospital and had an internal u/s they said they could only see gestation sac and it was measuring exactly 5 weeks told me to go home and rest but the bleeding stopped and I started to get this black stringy discharge (tmi) and period like pains in my lower abdomen and back Its been going on for 4 days now but no blood! I called my midwife but she can't see me until next Tuesday I still have pregnancy symptoms im just so scared that I have lost my baby someone please share your experience!

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and I kept bleeding. It wasn't discharge, but period like bleeding with cloud clots and really painful. Everyone is different but unless you're bleeding a lot or your hormones confirm it, you still have hope. My us at 8 weeks confirmed it wasn't going to make it. Good luck.

Thanks a million girls my appointment is for Tuesday anyway as they only want to take measurements to see if there is any change in growth I really am praying it will be OK I appreciate all of your replys and I will keep yee updated x

I had three MC. Each of them stop growing. I passed them out after 4_6 weeks later.
I had my prgnancy symtoms on and the nusua and back pain get wors sometimes

At 5 weeks it's really hard to tell, they usually  won't pick up a heartbeat on an us cause it's so earl6, since you already  went in 6our best bet is probably  just to wait it out a couple of weeks and go back in, I know the uncertainty  of not knowing is terrifying  but there's not much you can do but wait at this 0oint, I bled for 18 weeks with my first and she is perfectly  healthy so sometimes  our bodies just do strange things, goodluck

I've never had the stringy discharge. I miscarried and had brown spotting and then finally after 4 weeks passed huge clots and that was when I found out I was actively miscarrying.

This pregnancy my daughter has measured a week smaller the entire time so that might not need to be a concern.

You can aactualyl go into the ER and they can check you to make sure your fine. I wouldn't wait 4 days in my opinion. With both my pregnancies I went in for any cramps or spotting. Better to know and relax
