anemia treatment for a patient of thalasemia trait

im at present 18 weeks of gestation and a patient of thalasemia trait, presently my hemoglobin level is 9.5 g/dl , how shouls i treat my anemia, im taking folic acid and multi vitamin supplements already.should i add up oral iron.and what if it further drops at what level is blood transfusion recommended. and further more can i be given intravenous iron supplementation.

i was gettn  iron by iv my doctor told me that i couldnt get iron until after pregnancy b/c i was gettin iron once a week through iv b/c i was severly anemic but as of my last iron treatment my iron level had went up so hopefully it want go back down 2 low

uuuummm i dont think anyof us know that you shud prob ask some blood-group or anemia group ----- this is just pregnancy and its symptoms, maybe  renee can answer this one for ya!! good luck!!!!!!!
