I asked my doctor about that an he said that no matter what I will be having a c section whether I go before my scheduled date or on it. I was hoping to have vaginal but they won't do it.

I've had 1 prior csection and am having anothet 1 later this month. I went into preterm labour at 27wks, they stopped it, but they said if they couldn't they would just do the csection then. Only 18 more days to go til my scheduled csection so I'm hoping I can hold on. Wishing you a great delivery and recovery!

I am thankful my baby boy came before the csection !

I'm 37w+1d btw and I'm trying to get labor to start on its own bc I want to be able to experience a natural birth and recover faster plus bc it hurts so much being cut and I have a 5 yr old and my husband will only have 2 days to help me with both b4 having to return to work which is out of town due to financial situations..

This is my 3rd with 2 previous c sections as well and my dr told me if I go into labor and I go in and Im dilated to a 8 or 9 he said he would let me have my baby girl natural but he said if I go in labor and it's really slow and not progressing real fast he would do my c section at that time so I guess it's all in what the dr will let you do in have done so much research and talk to your dr about letting you go threw a trial of labor they can't induce you tho bc it's to much strain of the uterus goodluck tho

Oh its been two years since my last one you may have a wayyyy better chance than me then :) talk to your doctor about it a lot of doctors support VBAC births. If you go into labor before your c section ask if you can try vaginal!!!

I have had two c section prior to this child and my doc ask me at 22week's if I wanted to do vaginal this time so it depends on your body and history I guess and my children are now one and two years old so it hasn't been long

It's been 6yrs since my last pregnancy so I'm just curious what Wil happen if I go into labor before my scheduled csection  cuz I've noticed discomforts I've never had with my two previous pregnancies. .... like Braxton hicks contractions and pelvic pressure and I'm 7months/28wks already

I'm pregnant with my third I've had two c sections. I wanted to have a vaginal birth this time but my doctor highly recommended I don't :(. He said it IS possible but its very risky.
