anyone not working while pregnant?

So I'm not working for the first time in my life. I miscarried at 16 weeks a few months back and we're 6 weeks pregnant now. So I took some time off work just to keep calm and not stress the baby out. But I'm afraid I'll go crazy from being bored when my husband's working. Any advice?

I go to the library, I have an almost 2 year old tho. She keeps me on my toes, but honestly I did the same for both my pregnancies, i'm high risk so being careful is the name of the game for me. I took up new hobbies, like crocheting and I can sell what I make. i live in a small town with not a lot to do, so books, movies, getting out to the park. It all helps.

I've been a stay at home home for 18 months now an when I was pregnant my husband preferred that I didn't work so I wouldn't get stressed an it has been great but staying busy for me is easy cause I already have a child an a house to maintain but I would say take short daily walks. Maybe do yoga create projects for yourself.. it'll get easier the first few weeks kinda suck til you find your groovd

I stay home to ,thank the lord. I did get bored before but now i took up hobbies. I clean alot first. Make sure everything is sparkling. Then i do coupon clipping and sale searches. I also email companies for free samples of there products. Im starting to get free diapers free wipes all kinds of baby products like shampoos and rash creams. It really adds up. Ive saved so much with this hobby.  I just bought a new fisher price bouncer valued at 50 bux for just 15 bux ! Ive even recieved a brand new  carseat off craigslist for free! Theres alot u can do mama ur blessed to b home relaxing. Goodluck

I'm the same way. I worked my whole pregnancy with my son. I quit working a year ago because it was to much with nursing school but I decided to take the summer off and I am so bored. My son and cleaning keeps me mild busy but now I feel more tired than when I was working two job pregnant with my first. I tried to get a job for the summer but my husband kinda refused. He said I'm taking the summer of to rest and he doesn't want me working full time all summer and then going into full time school being pregnant with a four year old.

I wish I was working again but its best to stay home you can get really stressed out from work. I worked as a cashier and I had to quit because I was having health problems. But now in the summer to not stay home you can go out to the pool, beach and hang out with your friends its better than staying home

You just have to keep your mind active, tv, read a book, clean the house a little, make plans to see people for a orange juice... those I've found have been the best for me.
