aplease help asap

My 19 year old sister is 8 weeks pregnant and she bleeds everytime she goes pee.this has been happening today only. Is this normal,or shld she go to emergency.

Id Go get checked asap just in case....or at least call her dr

She should put herself on bed rest, and only get up to eat or to pee.  She should keep hydrated.  If it settles down and stops bleeding, she can get up 24 hours after the bleeding stops.  Only if she begins to lose blood at a rate of more than a maxi pad in an hour, or "floods" when she pees a whole lot of blood at once, or begins to feel dizzy or feverish, she should go to the ER.  She shouldn't go to the ER for light bleeding or moderate bleeding only with peeing, she should go to bed.  Walking around makes the uterus have contractions, which increases the tendency to bleed, and the ER is a dandy place to get a bad norovirus or the flu.  If she is having a bit of uterine bleeding such as from a broken blood vessel, it should settle down.  If she is having bleeding from a miscarriage, they can't fix it at the ER anyway.  Only if she is having big bleeding or fever or dizziness should she go in.

Does she only bleed with going pee? Or are her underwear bloody too? May be in her urine. Either way I'd be going in..
