I'm 7 weeks and the only thing I've found that helps is just laying down flat on my back......

Hey,
Im 10weeks and I have been having lowe back pain for a few weeks now. It hurts the most when I bend over to put my shoes or pants on. I talked the dr today and he said its so normal!! Good Luck :o)
i am 5wks2days and started feeling dull low back pain sometime last week. i think as long as your pain isn't extremely sharp accompanied by bad cramps, you are fine! i am sorry to hear about your past m/c. make sure you bring all of your concerns to your first doctor appt. when is it? mine is the 15th. how far along were you with your m/c? i read that there is a 15-20% chance of m/c for each pregnancy (if under age 35). the site also said that each week closer to 2nd trimester the percentage goes down slightly...at 10 weeks, it said the chances were only at like 3 or 4%. that is pretty low. even though this is my first pregnancy, i have been so worried because of all of the stories i have heard from other women. when i actually saw the % i felt comfort in know that there is an 80-85% chance that our pregnancies will be healthy ones! so if you look at it that way, maybe it will give you at least some comfort... just take it week by week knowing that everyone week, you are closer to 2nd trimester :) i wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!
Early pregnancy back pain is a normal phenomenon in early pregnancy. Most of the expectant mothers witness some degree of back pain during the early phase of pregnancy and this pain generally subsides after about 20 weeks. Back pain or spasm, which is reflected by stretching of muscles or burning pain in the left or the right side of the quadrant, is normally the result of the softening of the supporting ligaments and disks due to an increase in the progesterone hormone during the early phase of pregnancy. In some cases, urinary infection during pregnancy can also result in back pain amongst pregnant women. The extra weight of a pregnant women's body and the change in her centre of gravity also result in backaches and back pain.
