blood pressure dropped

I was at the bank today abd as I was speaking w the teller, I began to get dizzy. Everything seemed blurry, I was sweating, and my body began to shake. I believe my blood pressure dropped. I am 10wks 5days preg and was wondering if that was normal?  Has this ever happened to anybody else?

sorry I would say tell your doctor as well just in case it's something else.

the best way to combat it is to drink as much fluid as possible..by increasing your blood volume, you can slightly increase your blood pressure. They treat low blood pressure first and foremost in the hospital with IV fluids..so try to stay hydrated, and don't stand or sit too quickly.

It's normal in early pregnancy most women experience it. This happens because the pregnancy hormone progesterone relaxes the walls of your blood vessels, causing your blood pressure to fall. It will get better throughout your pregnancy

Yes, my blood pressure was very low my first trimester--I even passed out a few times.  I soon learned to carry water with me no matter where I was and no matter what I was doing, if I started to feel dizzy I would sit down wherever I was, put my head between my knees and take nice, deep breaths.  Your blood pressure will probably begin to rise back to a normal level in your second trimester.  Good luck. =)
