My daughter is 22 days old and I bottle feed breast milk and formula about every 2-3 hrs but what's concerning me is when she's eating she eats so fast that she makes this squeaking hard to breathe noise and she spits out the nipple to catch her breath then continues when she's calmed down.  It's always bothered me she's done this since she was born and I talked to her pediatrician but she said she has to hear it to decipher what it is.  Has anyone dealt with this it kinda sounds like a hiccup mixed with hard breathing/choking.  I don't know how to explain it that well...sorry and it seems like she's only popping like 4 times a day is that ok?

Maybe the nipple.is flowing to fast. Nipples come from 0-3months on up maybe u have a largee one or try getting on that is smaller. My son did something similar it was like he knew if he didnt drink faster it was gonna run down his face

It happens everytime I feed her, yesterday she ate every hour and a half and she still made the noise...I use tommee tippee bottles with a slow flow nipple...I started out using a variation flow(baby takes as much as she wants, cross cut nipple, for all ages) but she ate so fast it would pour out the corners of her mouth and when she spit out the nipple what she didn't swallow she spit out.  I don't have the money at the time to try different bottles just spent my last bit of money on diapers and bills.

Sounds like she may be overly hungry ... Is it possible to feed her sooner? The nipple could be too fast or too difficult? Have you tried another bottle type? My son had issues with that. Otherwise maybe schedule an appt around her schedule or record it?

Well the pooping is fine. My daughter done that when she had a stuffy nose and sometimes she would suck so hard and fast that she would collapse the nipple. Sorry I really don't know. Does she do it everytime.

The poo sounds fine I don't recall what "normal" is but 4x sounds average. Not sure about the noise have you tried feeding her in an upright position? Some babies have trouble swallowing when they are reclined too much
