brown spots - pregnancy

Hi my name is Libby, I`m 30years old and 27+4 weeks pregnant. About 4 weeks ago I notised that on my hands (top of my palm) started to appear brown spot - one on each hand -  approx 2x2cm big. They are brow-greenish colour. Few days ago I also started to have the same spots on my legs. I never had such a spots before.

I was diagnose with g.diabetese, but since the glucose test my numbers were in the limits.

Thank you so much for your answer.
Best regards
libby

i think its probably normal...sounds like just hyperpigmentation or skin discoloration that will normally go away after birth. you have such an increase in hormones (even the ones that help with skin pigment)..you should always ask your doctor though just to keep things on the safe side. A friend of mine had the same thing....it was similar to the pregnancy mask but appeared at different parts of her body. Hope this helps and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

Are they itchy or anything? I know that there are many skin changes during pregnancy...it almost sounds like your getting "the mask of pregnancy" just not on your face. Are the spots raised up at all or irritated?
I would speak with your doctor for sure to see what it is.
