brownish spotting before period

Hey all,
Well, I am a newly wed, got married in May and have been on birth control for 8 months now. I had some side effects but for the most part ok. Although this month something weird happend. I spotted 2 weeks before i was suppose to start my period, and then when i was suppose to have my period i spotted for 2 days with light brownish reddish color. I had cramps during the weeks, very tired, moody, and feel i have gained a few lbs.   Any advice? Could I be pregnant?

Hiya i was meant to say,if you had 2 days bleeding 2 weeks before period,i have read many articles that say.during ov some women notice  blood  in there mucas, which can be spotting.considering you bleed brownish blood almost time of period, can be a sign if doesnt turn to full flow.i didnt have any symptoms with my first pregnancy.until about 8weeks,so it is possible, besides which taking a hpt  will put your mind at ease.good luck.

Sounds possible, spotting 2 weeks before period could have been implantation.try taking a test.
