can any mums explain this?

my baby was born 3 weeks ago,i had bleeding for a few hours after the birth and then it stopped.i have had no bleeding at all since then. i cant even find anything on the internet about this. i had a nateral birth,no pain relief,i have not breastfed,and im not on any medication,also im not stressed in anyway. did anyone go through the same? does anyone know what this means?

Wow! With both my boys I bleed for like 6-8wks. You are pretty lucky!! If you are worried you can always call your OB. I am sure they would be more then happy to put your mind at ease!

It's possible that it may return.....With my second pregnancy, I bled for 7 weeks....but actually had a 5 day interval during that time with no bleeding whatsoever.  From what I've read, lochia (postpartum bleeding) can reappear like that after being gone for a few days, it's actually pretty common.

Consider yourselg very fortunate. I bleed for 6-7 weeks off and on!!!

I dont think you have anything to worry about. Every women and every pregnancy is different. I dont bleed much after my L&D as well.
