cervix might be shrinking

i just found out on friday that my cervix might have shrunk 2 cm since april. Im 24 weeks Sunday. On Thursday I was having pains in my back and started going to the top of my stomach while working. My doctor told me that it might have just been an error but she just wanted to make sure so she motored me to see if I was having contractrions. In about 10 minutes there was no contractions but still to make sure she put me on progestone. I will go back in on Thursday for another ultrasound but just for my cervix and see if it was an error or not. Im scared, and dont know what to do. i feel like I did something wrong and my little girl is paying for it. All I want to do is stay in bed and do nothing just so I can keep her protected.

Its not ur fault.I kno its hard not 2 feel like that but try not 2 blame urself...just do the best u can with the situation...I wish u and baby best of luck
