I'm 38 weeks and last week I was prescribed both ibprofen and antibiotics.. obviously that doesn't mean everyone should take it, but I was told that once we're far along in the third trimester, the baby is finished developing so it doesn't pose a huge threat, unless there's prolonged use. although ibprofen probably won't help with a cold. You can probably have most things for a cold. No cough syrup though! Try drinking a bottle of cold lucozade I found it helps a little bit when I have a cold

Nyquil Tylenol and robitussin are all on my list of approved meds during pregnancy from my doctor.

Nope. Ibuprofen firstly won't help with a cold at all. It only relieves fever, pain, and swelling. Second, ibuprofen shouldn't be used in pregnancy and on the rare occasion that your Dr gives the okay, it is NEVER to be used in the 3rd trimester.

I don't think so. But I would call your doc to make sure. When I had a cold they told me I could only take robitussin and tylenol

No ibuprofen. It's a big no no during pregnancy. You can take Tylenol. Also, drink plenty of water. Eucalyptus oil in the shower or diffuser will help clear you up a bit.
