college

I'm 21 13 weeks and 5days. I haven't started college yet and I don't know if I ever will be able to. Has any young mother's been able to go to college?

I'm due in 9 days so unfortunately I have to take a semester off! But I am definitely finishing! All I need to motivate me is knowing that once I finish I can provide a better life for my child

You are deff better off finishing now before the baby arrives but at the end of the day you do what you feel is best! I start my last semester the 25th and am due December 23rd and the semester ends Dec 10th. I am hoping I get to complete all my finals before than but point is I am trying to get this done now so by the time the baby arrives she will get all my undivided attention and then eventually I will go back to work but it will be less stressful and less things for you to worry about! Goodluck:)

I'm 21and first will be here any day and yes I'm going to college... Being pregnant in college isn't so bad... Use the time you would have spent on partying to study and your amazing grades week get you a scholarship... Find other mommy friends on your campus to give you tips....talk to professors about your situation and they may cut you some slack on attendance add long as you are maintaining your grades.... Get a pump.. .. And map out classes and where you can feed your baby and change them... It's definitely doable.. We can't afford day care so I got a job researching for a professor and made deals with other mommy friends to watch this kid of they watch mine during different classes

The best advice I can give you is; if you want to go, don't put it off. I put it off for years thinking it would be easier to go when the kids got older, but it didn't. When my 4th was 6 months old I finally started going. Now I'm pregnant with my 5th, but I am so close to finishing my degree that I don't plan on stopping. I have been on the Dean's list about since I starteted. Anyways, I just wanted to say that going back to school when you have kids is hard, but not impossible. You will have to sacrifice quality time with your children-- but not all of it. You just have to keep in mind that your sacrifice is only temporarily and will result in improving the quality of life for you and your family.

I had a physics lab partner that got pregnant in her first year. She took off the next semester,  but was back in school. It took her longer to finish, but she's even more proud of herself (and I am of her too!) You can do it. :)
