confused

Ok so as many of you know, I was supposed to be miscarrying... when I went to the ER two days ago they explained that my cervix was open and the blood tests have shown the hcg levels had dropped... they then said you will be passing the sac and baby within about the next two hours... well I haven't passed anything, no more blood clots or anything, the blood has drastically decreased and it has turned brown again... what does this mean? Do I need to have a b&c done? Im just confused because they also said that I would be bleeding heavily for the next few days, but I hahaven't been. Im just confused about all of this

Hey! Im so sorry for your loss! :( when I lost mine in January I passed the baby and only bled for 4-5 days, It all depends on your body. the ER recommended i follow up with an OB to determine if a D&C was needed. youre period may take a month or two to be normal... it depends on your body. my thoughts are with you and I'll pray that you have a speedy recovery! <3

Mine stopped after a month and I didn't get my period for a few months for some reason.

With both of my miscarriages I knew when I passed the baby. If you dont think you passed everything go get checked so you dont get an infection. But I bled for about a week then a month later got my period but everyone is different it depends on your body when it's ready. But id go get checked to be sure everything is ok especially if you plan on trying again your doctor may prescribe extra vitamins to help prepare your body.

Any idea as to when the bleeding usually completely stops? Or when I should get my period again?

That happened to me when i miscarried. I bleed for a while, then it went to dark brown discharge for a couple days and then id start bleeding again. It lasted for about 3-4 weeks. Hopefully that helps and im sorry for your loss.

Well this morning when I wiped it was just brown and its very little, everday it gets lessand less and I have onky bled for 2 weeks it was really bad when I went into the ER (3days ago) but its just decresed a lot and the blood has gone back to light brown. Im at a loss, and I also have no more back pain or cramps

I actually saw what was "the baby" it passed as a decent sized clot. Then I.only bled as if I had my period for four or five days. Call.doc on Monday or visit the hospital. Just to make sure. You may have passed it with how you described it in prior posts but better safe

When u miscarry the blood doesn't stop... that's weird though I have never heard of that happening... have the doctors check u again
