contractions ??

has anyone had real contractions without loosing their mucus plug??? I've been having contractions, but my doctor said I haven't lost my mucus plug yet...so is it just Braxton hicks im feeling or real thing its been happening for the past 2 hours like 4-5 min apart ?

At the hospital they put me on the monitor and baby's fine.. there thinking it's just bh because the contractions are slowing down, they said there going to keep me another hr to be safe, no dilatation and mucus plug is still in

I called they said to come in since I live so far and there already 5 min apart.. I hope its just bh cause I'm only 35 weeks

Some women barely feel their contractions, for others they are so bad you can't stand up. The regularity is the giveaway here, I think, though I could be wrong. I say you should go. At least call.

If they are as regular as you say, they are probably real. Since you're so far away I think you need to go. It's better to be turned away for BH than it is to have your baby in the car!

I can't say from personal experience im only 35 weeks but the ladies at my labor a delivery unit told me real contractions will get to the point where you can't stand or walk on your own

I live a hour and 20 min from the hospital.. I don't want to drive all the way there and feel stupid if its just bh again.. how bad do real contractions hurt and is there anyway I can tell for sure if there real or just bh

I had contractions for a good 4 hours b4 I lost my plug it actually came out while I was in triage
