contractions?? advice

okay can I get some personal experiences of how you ladies felt with your contractions before you went into labor. I just feel that there different for some of us. I'm 37 weeks and I've been having tighting in my stomach it the pain is minimal but I've had then for two days now and there getting stronger but I'm just not sure whether they are contractions or not??

I had pain in my lower abdomen. They would come and go. So i decided to time them to make sure it was contractions. They were 10mins apart and last 1min. After sometime i heard a pop sound and the pain became unbearable. They started to become 5mins apart and i started bleeding.

I do believe it is different for everyone,  my contractions could barely be felt up until i was 9cm dialated

Yes mine are not extremely painful but they do come often and I just want you know do I wait or go in.

EVERYONE told me u will know your having a contraction when u get one. but thats defiantly not always true. i had no idea i was having contractions until i went to the doctor for it.. i waited it out over night. at first it was just a little pain almost like a weird cramp. then it just got very unbearable and it would last a lot longer and come more often
