contractions or braxton hicks

Im 35w4d im having pain in my lower stomach and it gets worser like a sting that doesnt go away until after a few sec. Ive been having these pains for two days now is this normal?

Could be your body preparing for labor...they say the way to tell real contractions from braxton hicks is to lay on your left side and drink water if they go away its only braxton hicks if it stays chances are you are having some real contractions...but not to freak if they are real don't panic if they have a consistent pace (such as every 5min) for 2hrs straight than go to l&d if not than those could just be ones opening up your cervix some

That sounds more like it could be a bladder infection or something. Contraction/braxton hicks are more like period cramps.
