Is it possible to have contractions in your upper stomach area or what could this pain be...

I've been chugging water since its happened and took a bath to try to relax now my stomach is just in pain nothing that comes and goes just hurts now

My midwife told me that if you drink 32oz of water, and lay on your side and rest braxton hicks will stop. If its real contractions, they will stop, but then come back shortly only way more intense and then you know if your really in labor. Good luck :)

Honey when it comes to you and your baby you shouldn't think about about someone else needed the care more than you with you being thus far along they should put you up in labor & delivery instead of keeping you in the er anyways but like someone else said if its not bh its preterm labor and you need to get in to get checked out immediately if your wait to long they won't be able you stop it and that won't be good at all :( i really think you should head back in whether your feeling the pain anymore or not its much better to be safe than sorry!

Well I was on my way there and they stopped so came home. I always think that someone else is in more in need instead of me or whose in worse situation. I guess if they start again ill be going in.my luck they will stop again though

Definitey go get checked asap hun. BH can be uncomfortable, but they shouldn't be painful or happening super often.

I was haopening every minute or so prob less and now its like every couple minutes or soim think bh but there's got to be a way to make them stop without the dr if they arnt the labor contractions
