crying my eyes out :'(
When we were in the hospital my baby did so good with breastfeeding the second we fed him we had no problems now the 1st night home and he refuses to eat and now I dont know what to do.
Well I got him to latch. So now he is eating from me for 30 minutes and still eating 1/3 oz from a bottle.
Yeah a newborn will not drink much in fact an oz seems like a bit much at 2/3 days.
He was hungry not extremely hungry but he is going so long without eating and waking up crying. I gave in and made him a bottle this time and he only drank an oz.
Don't give up. Don't worry or seem upset so you don't upset the baby.

Today was my first day home too and my baby was doing the game thing. But once I took a deep breath it was okay. I just kept trying and trying different positions and he finally latched on and had good feeding! I'm sure it'll happen again but that's normal! Hang in there! (:
Take a breath mama. First off its going to be ok!! Freaking out will make it worse:(. . He might not be hungry. Is he sleeping? Have you burped him?
