At that age I think daycare is fine. I know afew ppl who put their kids in there younger than yours and they had a good experience plus they get that interaction with other babies and when they get older they start to learn so much at such an early age. It's all up to what you feel comfortable with tho. Family members are also another good option.

I don't trust daycares at all period . So I'll never take my kids to one . And it's way to much now days . I'd rather have a family member or my bestfriend watch my kids . But then again I can't trust family either /: I went to work after my oldest son was 3 months . But I worked a different shift then my bf did so we didn't have to find a baby sitter . It was hard leaving him while I went to work but I managed it !

I son went to daycare at 3 months and it's hard at first. It's gonna be hard for the first couple of months but just keep in mind that your going back to work for him. You can call and check up on him. Daycare isn't that bad. I always said I wouldn't put my kids in daycare but due to financial situations I had to. My son is almost two and he learns so much from daycare. From counting to ten to learning his body parts. Daycare is bitter sweet. Everyone has different opinions. Just go with the one you trust.

Is there possibly any family who could watch baby for you while you're working?? I think youd feel a lot better about being away that long. Honestly, too many day cares do not take care of the children well, and actually mistreat them pretty badly. I won't be putting my child in daycare until she is old enough to tell me if they're mistreating her. Just make sure to REEEAALLY do your research on a place. Good luck!

From watching my mom be a stay at home mom & when she finally went to work the kids were crazzzyyy. I think now is the best time. I would just worry so much about other peopletaking care of my baby! They need a lot of attention and i always see one lady taking care of a group of 10  kids...

In my honest opinion I would see if a relative could watch him, that way he is with someone familiar and someone that you trust. Also my best friends starting putting her baby on day care when she was that young and she is almost 2 now and has went to 5 different day area she is always sick and getting fungal infection, colds and stomach bugs. No matter how clean a daycare is your child will get sick. Maybe even a family friend could watch him. Good luck I hope this helps
