diff btwn contractions and fetal movements

Hi, i am 27w3d and first time mom. I am unable to distinguish between fetal movements and uterine contractions. Pl help me with your experience girls....

Yup, dont worry about it, they are unmistakable!  Braxton hicks will tighten your tummy, but dont hurt... but when real contractions hit they not only tighten your tummy but are accompanied by pain...they follow a pattern timewise and each one will hurt more than the last, thats how you'll know when its time :)

Contractions feel nothing at all like fetal movements...not even close!! You will totally know the difference. Contractions feel like REALLY bad period cramps...even braxton hicks dont feel like the baby moving and they arent painful...just your whole belly gets really tight...
