Thanks ladies I'm done worrying
When an ob measures fundal height (tape measurer on the belly) it can be wildly inaccurate from one appointment to another. The baby's position, and amount of fluid are the main culpret. if your 28weeks but your baby decides it's time to stretch out, that can make you measure larger. Same with fluid. If you have a bit more fluid you'll measure bigger. If you constantly measure quite a bit bigger they'll do an ultrasound just to see whats going on.
I've measured three weeks more than what I really am, and two weeks under all within a month because my little lady scoots so much.

okay i wasnt sure when you said the baby was measuring bigger... i was thinking maybe from an US... anyway those measurements can be easily off and i wouldnt think too much about it... lots can affect your size, it doesnt necessarily mean its due to baby :) If they were really worried they wouldnt wait 6 weeks to make sure... so no i wouldnt worry at this point... and some Drs have actually stopped measuring that way just because not everyone follows the 1 cm growth per week... every body type and pregnancy is different
With a meausring tape on my stomach
How did they take the measurement?
