The caffeine doesn't really matter too much, you can have up to 200mg of caffeine a day so as long as you don't chug energy drinks you should be fine there(: the diet is a no no though! Almost all diet or sugar free beverages contain artificial sweeteners. If you find a drink with stevia in it then that's great but past that you want to avoid it. Especially aspartame!! Reading ingredients on everything is unfortunately just something we all have to do now for the sake of our babies. Good luck!!

With my first pregnancy I didn't know I was pregnant until the end and in between the beginning and finding out I was in school and to keep myself awake I was drinking monsters every morning. The daughter is 2 now and very intelligent and was born completely and totally healthy. That being said I still wouldn't recommend drinking monster every day. But I have drank a lot of coke with this pregnancy. I don't drink know diet anything but I do try to hey the caffeine free coke now instead of regular. Just make sure you drink plenty of water too.

Im more worried about the artificial sweeteners (aspartame) more than thr caffeine. Its perfectly dine to have a glass of soda. But you should definitely limit your diet drinks.  Especially in the first trimester

Too much caffeine is no bueno for baby.
So limit your intake because diet Pepsi can contain caffeine . I try not to drink too much soda .if you want soda try the colorless sodas! Most don't have caffeine .
