dull lower back pain and sharp pains in abdomen

I am 16 wks 2 days and having dull lower back pain and sharp pains in lower abdomen. It has been going on since yesterday. I havent been doing much of anything but vacuuming one room. What could this be?

Minor aches, pains and cramps are very common and normal in pregnancy. I've had back pain my entire pregnancy, and started getting pretty bad round ligament pain (which can feel sharp at times) when I was about as far along as you. If the pain gets severe/unbearable, either put a call in to an on-call doctor at your clinic (if that option is available to you) or go to the ER. Otherwise, just relax and put your feet up - it's all part of the joys of pregnancy! ;)

i dont thin vacumming can affect that.n having pain is normal thing. i m 13 week pregnancy sometime i get lower backpain n cramping .

Thanks but my doctor is not back in office until Monday and my next app is in one week

Did you call your Dr.?

I know everyone experiences different symptoms and aches but if you are concerned, I would put a call in to your doctor. Sorry I am not that helpful but keep us posted and good luck!
