engorged breast :(

So I gave birth 2 days an decided to breastfeed an my breast have be come engorged. What should I do? They hurt

That happened to me... I bought a pump and I fed my baby as much as he would eat. I also took a warm shower and let the hot water run over them. It gets better.. now I can tell when its time to feed my baby by the way my breast will start to feel.

Pump, express or wake up baby for a feed, don't leave it as I did, now I only produce enough to feed my son with but not enough to pump, even though he never drains me :)

I got super engorged with both my kids I would pump each breast for like 5 minutes before each feeding to relieve the pain and it worked wonders!!

I heard drinking pineapple juice helps with engorged breasts. It's worth a shot!
