epidural?

Do you have to be dilated to a certain amount to be able to get it?..

Ah man I guess I will just have to wait and see tomorrow with my luck I'll have to wait till 4cm! -.-

I was 2cm but my contractions were 30seconds apart

They told me my hospital doesn't give one til about 3-4 and won't past 8

with my kids i had to be 4 cm .. it ***** really cuz u can be at 2 for the longest !!

K good Lol someone told me you had to be at least 4cm dilated I was worried if I couldn't make it till then or not! Lol ;/

And it takes about 20 min to give the epidural and I had to wait til my bag of IV fluids was empty and needed to be filled so dont wait til you're at the end of your rope if you need it.

I didn't. The only part that hurts is when it goes in just for a moment. But I had contractions during and you have to sit still and it wasn't fun, but after I got some rest :) and I only felt the pressure from baby pushing down.

Depends on ur doctor and how far ur contractions are or dilated wirh my 1st my doc let me have my epideral when I was admittesd cu my contractions where a min apart but only 2cm dilated all depwnds on doc but may have to wait a while to have the on call anistilagist (completely spelt that wrong) to get there

No atleast i wasnt even dialating wen i got mines .. i know after 8cm i think it is yu cant get it.. it really depends on yur doc bc i had it all tje time
