Squats are awesome for you while youre pregnant! They help strengthen and stretch muscles you use during birth, so you won't tire as quickly, and will be less likely to tear. I agree, no weights or kettle bells though.
Yes, especially in your final weeks. The stronger your legs and hip muscles the more efficiently you will be able to push.
