BTW-even though I only gained 2 pounds in my first trimester, I was REALLY showing at 14 weeks so some carry the baby belly differently.
I had only gained 8 pounds through my first and second trimester but after I hit a certain point ALL THE SUDDEN I gained 6 pounds in ONE month!!!!!!!!!!! I was so worried too but all in all I only gained a total of 28...how far along are you?
Every single pregnacy is different...some show almost from the day they concieve( ok that's an exageration) some not til 5 months. a lot of times for your second you pop right away. a coworker had the same due date and at 3 months looked lik 5 months so they sent her for an u/s to check for twins but htere is only 1 and at 5 months i looked 2-3
You're def. bloating and any pressure on your tummy can make you feel nauseous or uncomfortable. Start sporting the maternity pants (because those sizes will help make you feel better!).
I love Lane Bryant's bras! Even more than Vic. Secret!!!
Yep Lane Bryant is where I have had to get all my bra's too. I was about average weight and only gained 1 lb so far in this pregnancy, I am 17 weeks 4 days. Pre-pregnancy bra size was 36ddd. I didn't even know they made bra sizes in the triples like that. I was horrified last year when I bought several bras and got fitted for them. My whole family is small in that department but it seems I got the HUGE boobs gene. Lucky me. LOL. Now my bra's are so tight they are causing bruising so in another week I need to go back and grab new ones. I am terrified how much bigger they got.
Target has really cute maternity clothes. I think the brand name is Liz Lange and I love her clothes. They are really cute. I love the jeans. They don't have the maternity pouch in the front. They just have this really wide elastic band all the way around them, so they are perfect from the time you start showing until you give birth. They are also perfect for after you give birth until you get back into your regular clothes.
Will definitely go check out Lane Bryant, I think we have one at my local mall.
Hey Im with you. Im a 42DD and Think its time to move up!LOL Do you have a lane bryant store? There bra are not Grandma style.....Time is sure flying with this pregnancy...
I started wearing the maternity clothes at week 6 since my regular clothes were feeling snug. I went and bought a new bra yesterday and the only one I could find in my new found cup size (34DD to a 36 DDD) was a grandma bra. It has four prongs at the back and full cups so now I can't even wear my low cut shirts to show off this new cleavage. I just don't remember all of this with my first. Ah, how the time does fly.
At the start of my pregnancy I had the "normal" bloat and water weight gain that you usually gather with your menstrual cycle. It went away after a while. I had days were I was bloated and then days were I felt normal again. I wore a size 3 US before pregnancy, so I always looked funny right before my period. I'm sure you'll have your days were your 14's will fit and then days were they want. Fun huh!!
Oh my. Iam pregnant with my second as well, And I had to start wearing maternal clothes at 7weeks. Because this is your second your body "know what to do" so it starting early. Dont worry.....
This is my second pregnancy. My first DD is 9 years old. I am kind of worried about the twins thing. When did you find out you were pg with multiples? (I know at first you had three and one has passed on, but the other two are doing good). I am thinking that I may have multiples. I asked the doc about an ultrasound and he sounded really stand-offish on the subject. He said no reason to since I was so certain about my dates. I have been charting on fertility friend. My next appointment is March 21st. We are going to hear the heartbeat at this time. I swear I have gained about an inch for every pound I have gained. I just don't think I should be showing this much.
I started showing at 6 weeks but I'm having twins but alot of other women started bloating early and making them get a pouch earlier
Welcome to pregnancy, everyOne is different on how they show. If you have only gain 5pounds I wouldnt worry its all baby stuff, s/he needs room. Have a great 9months!
