explaining how you got prego to little kids

I work at a church nursery and on sundays i work with toddlers the oldest is 4 will be 5 in july. So this past sunday i told them im pregnant (35w) they were asking how did he get in there and how is he gonna come out. With my 3 yo stepdaughter we told her that my hubby had planted him like a seed in my tummy, this worked for her but not the toddlers at work. I just kind of changed the subject but what should i tell them if they ask some more?

I say have them ask their parents because some parents might get upset like one mom said or u can ask the parents if they want u to tell their kids since they know how each child will handle it.

My 9 year old boy ask the same question. I told him the thruth were babys come from and I actually show him a couple of videos of giving birth but that's just me. But if I was u I would tell them to ask their parents everyone is different.

My niece asked me the same thing her mom told her I swallowed a baby and since ice only had c sections she told her the doctor is going to cut him out when he doesn't fit in my belly anymore that was a huge mistake she will not let me hold or even look at her pretend baby's cuz she thinks ill swallow them and when she sees me she looks at me and tells me that I really need to get the baby out and not eat anymore she Is only two almost three poor thing my advice is to just tell them the truth just leave what little ears can't hear out lol

I think it depends on your child. People know there children. My won't be in the room because I know he will freak out seeing me in pain and bleeding. He already freaks out and sits outside the bathroom when I have morning sickness. He worries so much. I also think there's a differences between a boy and girl. I know I went to one of my mom's birth when I was younger and I freaked out but the babies cord was around then neck. And I didn't lie I just kinda held back from all the truth. I did not lie to my 3 yr old I told her daddy put the baby in there that little worms swim and find the mommy's egg and then the mommy grows the baby and when its time i will push her out my cookie! She's fine with that!  We a want her in the room when I deliver so she won't be shocked and to me if u tell them to many things that arnt tru then there more curious almost like they know ur lying! She holds my hand at the doc and asks every time I'd were going to push her out today!

I actually showed my son a video of how it is born but he thinks that his daddy gave it to me and I swelled it!  He know they cut him out and he always looks at my scar as it fascinates him but I showed him a video of a vaginal birth so he is not scared when it is happening bc really I want him an the father to be there that is how we do things he never spends the night any where aw never use a babysitter he is with us period

Stupid phone- my 5 year old that Mommy will go to the Dr and push the baby out of my vagina.  I had to explain about Mommy's having 3 holes because he was worried about the Dr cutting another hole, but you don't know if other parents are ok with that.

I just told my son that there is a special exit for the baby and that open once the babu os big enough and ready to meet us. He had his own ideas so i had to tell him something. He woke me up one morning and told me it's going to hurt really bad when i poop out his baby brother or sister. Figured had to tell h something.

We just told my kids that Mommy was going to the doctor and he would help the baby come out.  In your case I would suggest having them ask their parents since you really don't know what they want them to know and they might get upset.  We did just tell my 5 herself

My sons idea of how God made babies is a man and women get married and god makes the baby and the baby grows up in mommies tummy until it's big like him. lol he's is four. It's kinda of cute. Specially went he tells people he knows how God really makes babies.
