Fasting in some other religions means giving up meat products and anything coming from animals and than Islam is as the lady stayed above. That's from my understanding. But you can always google it lol.
It's religious thing where you must keep fast for a month, you eat and drink fluid before sunrise to close your fast and open at sunset again... ONLY if your healthy enough to but you can't fast if your pregnant that's how it is in (islam) my religion... but others I'm not so sure of.
